Hillcrest Christian Church

In our youth program here at Hillcrest, we desire to grow young people in their walk with Jesus Christ. We hope every youth that is involved with us experiences the truths that God loves them, that living for God is a blast and that we love them also! The following describes the many areas young people can plug into here at Hillcrest

Connection Studies

9:30 a.m. This awesome time of learning study and fun is available for youth of all ages.

Sunday Evening Bible Studies

6:00 p.m. Teens (Middle School - High School) Meet each  Sunday evening (during the school year) in the Teen Room at Hillcrest.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ALIVE (WNA) (during the school year)

An opportunity for all Middle School/High School Teens to experience God in some unforgettable ways awaits those who join us for these sessions each Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:10 p.m. Highlights of WNA include Worship led by our WNA Praise Band, Insightful Bible Studies led by our Youth Sponsors and tons of fun fellowship. Special nights such as Off campus Service Nights, Full Worship Nights and the annual “Which Class Rules” competition help make Wednesday Night Alive the Mid-week place to be

RETREATS      These get-aways prove to be a great chance to re-focus on God and an opportunity to fellowship with other youth groups.

CONVENTIONS    These events are often a spiritual mountaintop as teens are challenged to live for God in midst of a great weekend (Jr. High Christian Convention).

CHURCH CAMP     Lives are stretched, molded and blessed each year at Wonder Valley Christian Camp. Attending a week of camp is one of the best spiritual investments any young person can make.

OUTINGS     We provide monthly outings for our different age groups, ranging from theme parties and game nights for our younger kids; to overnighters and crazy event nights for our teens. Be watching the bulletin and the newsletters for weekly activities!

SERVANT LEADERSHIP GROUP(soph-seniors)  This service is provided for our upper classmen who want to humbly help lead our youth group.

HIGH SCHOOL MISSION TRIP     June 2007, High School youth and sponsors traveled to New Orleans to work with homeowners in Katrina affected areas.  We try to do a mission trip every 2-4 years.  We have served in Mexico, building homes and in Show-Low AZ on the Indian reservations.   All lives are touched by these trips.

COMPASSION SPONSOR CHILD     Donations provide food, schooling, medical needs and most importantly help connect a child to God.
